March 2, 2018. The Missions and Evangelism Committee of Covenant Church (Orland Park, IL) is hosting a banquet in Lemont, Illinois benefiting home missions within the Presbytery of the Midwest. The Rev. Jim Hoekstra, Pastor of Immanuel Church (Andover, MN) will be the keynote speaker.
Arrive at the Lithuanian World Center Banquet Hall (14911 E. 127th St., Lemont, IL 60439) by 6:30 PM for a time for fellowship before the dinner at 7:00 PM. After dinner Rev. Hoekstra will speak and following that a freewill offering will be taken. The offerings collected will be given to the presbytery’s Church Extension (CHEX) Committee for administration, with all proceeds being donated to mission works within the presbytery. Checks should be made payable to “Presbytery of the Midwest.”
