Men’s Retreat 2019

February 22–23, 2019 Green Lake Conference Center Green Lake, WI Speaker: Rev. Shane Lems Character, Conduct, and Christ in the Reign of Jehoshaphat  Come and join us for a challenging time in God’s Word, as well as, opportunities to fellowship with other brothers in Christ from around the Presbytery of the Midwest. Pastor Lems will lead us in a study of the life of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat was one of Judah’s kings that we tend to overlook.  He was not a perfect man – he stumbled – but his character was godly and his conduct was good.  And ultimately, in his kingship, character, and conduct we get a glimpse of Christ.  As we spend time studying Jehoshaphat’s story we’ll learn how it instructs and applies to Christian men today. There will also be small group discussion times involving questions derived from the messages. Open time in the afternoon will allow for quiet reflection, fellowship,  and recreational activities such as basketball, broomball, and ping pong.   Registration information The retreat is open to all men 16 years and older. For consideration of boys younger than 16 years old, please contact Rick Laczny at 920-470-8382 or rclaczny@gmail.com.
