The following questions are only intended as examples of the type of questions that will be asked during the theology exam. Questions to be answered during any particular theology exam may include any of these and others.

  2. Are the Scriptures authoritative in all matters of faith and life?
  3. What is meant by sola Scriptura? Why does the Confession of Faith insist that neither new revelations of the Spirit or traditions of men should ever be added to the Scriptures?
  4. Are the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments without error in matters of science and history?
  5. What is the difference between general and special revelation?
  6. What is God?
  7. What is the trinity? Is the God of Scripture three Gods?
  8. What is meant by the sovereignty of God? How far does His sovereignty extend?
  9. Do you believe that God created all things of nothing in the space of six days, and all very good?
  10. Is Jesus Christ fully God?
  11. Did Jesus exist in eternity past?
  12. Is Jesus Christ really and truly man?
  13. Does Christ still have a human body in His state of glorification?
