Service of Thanksgiving For a Church Building

When: Friday, September 7, 6-7 PM.

Where: Resurrection Presbyterian Church
1333 Walnut Street, Oshkosh, WI 54901.

Our Oshkosh mission work, Resurrection Presbyterian Church (RPC), has recently secured a 24/7, exclusive access lease to a beautiful and strategically-placed church facility in Oshkosh. The building (a church and school) was constructed by the Green Bay Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church, but has not been used for mass since about 2007. From 2007-2015, it was used only for weddings and funerals. In December, 2017, it was purchased by the American Legion, which only uses the school facilities. RPC leases the church facilities from the American Legion.

This new lease and building make allowances for RPC’s core group membership to grow, for RPC’s ministries to expand and develop, for church planter, Bob Holda, to have a study at the church, for RPC to be better known in the city, and for visitors of various backgrounds to worship in a more inviting space than RPC previously enjoyed. We give God thanks for the generous gift of this leased building and invite you to join us for a service dedicated to that purpose.

We are inviting local congregations and the residents of the neighborhood surrounding our new church building to this service and to benefit from our ministry in general. Pray that many would come and enjoy the ministry of God’s Word to their everlasting benefit.
